Tickets for Yulefest Fireworks Display on sale from today, November 30
Begin Christmas with a flourish with the Yulefest Firework Display on Friday December 23. Come together with family and friends and watch as the illuminated display lights up the skies over Kilkenny Castle Park. Tickets for the creative display are now available so you can enjoy the fireworks from a prime viewing spot in the Castle Park. A warm coat and hat are advised so you can focus on the display and enjoy the Christmas excitement.
Set in the stunning setting of Kilkenny Castle Park, viewers can expect 9-10 minutes of truly spectacular art in the sky using fireworks. With a mixture of 75mm –100 mm Peony, Chrysanthemum, and Dahlia shells coupled with a base layer of 30mm – 49mm Multi Shot Barrages and Roman candles, Yulefest Kilkenny promises a visual aerial feast for all to enjoy! The show will feature only the best quality fireworks, chosen for their vibrant colours and lasting magical effects with the event uniquely designed to give the best possible experience.
Favourite samba drummers Rhythm Riot will be also be on hand to entertain as excitement builds ahead of the show.
Tickets are €3 + booking fee per person or €12 + booking fee for a family of up to 5. Advance booking essential. Tickets on sale from today, Wednesday November 30..
Please note: Gates will open at 6.30pm and close at 7.15pm and latecomers will not be admitted after this time. The event will be over by 8pm. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately.
