In a wide-ranging presentation given to councillors at Friday’s sitting of the Kilkenny City Municipal District, elected members widely welcomed the proposed project, which potentially could see the construction of 335 new homes. - READ MORE DETAILS HERE

Meanwhile, Cllr David FitzGerald described the location as ‘pivotal’ and suggested the housing should be allocated to the elderly and those with additional needs.
