A young man named Jacob recently saved money from his communion money to buy treats and goodies to donate to the Carlow/Kilkenny Dog Shelter - located in Garryduff, Paulstown, County Kilkenny.
The donation included dog food and other goodies for the dogs to enjoy.

The post made by the Carlow Kilkenny Dog Shelter on Facebook reads:
"This young man’s name is Jacob, he called to the shelter with lots of toys, treats and goodies for the dogs. He had used his communion money to purchase them. Such a kind, generous and lovely thing to do for the shelter dogs, thank you so much Jacob."
Comments under the post read as follows:
