The late Tom Hartley

The death has occurred of Tom Hartley; Ballinclare, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny, 19th October 2018. Tom, peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Kathleen loving father of Brenda, Oonagh, Marie (Deegan), Stephen, Declan, Niall and Catherine (Walsh), brother of Fr.Noel, Willie, John, Martin, Joan Power, Margaret Kent, Stasia Finn, Bridie McKay, Kathy McAlevey the late Sr. Mary, Paddy and Theresa Kane. Deeply regretted by his loving family daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his residence from 2pm tomorrow Sunday 21st October with rosary at 7.30pm. Removal will take place at 11.30am on Monday 22nd October to St. James' Church, Glenmore, arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Pine Grove Day Care Centre (donation box in the church).

The late Una McGrath

The death has occurred of Úna McGrath (née Buckley)
Freshford and 8 Meadow Hill, Kilkenny City and late The Square, Freshford. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Mick, brother Diarmuid, sisters Maura, Bríd, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Freshford, on Sunday evening from 5 o'clock with Rosary at 7.30 o'clock. Funeral Prayers on Monday morning at 10 o'clock followed by removal to St. Lachtain's Church for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan. No flowers please, donations if desired to Ossory/Lourdes Pilgrimage Fund. Donation box in church and funeral home.

The late Tom Peters

The death has occurred of Tom Peters. Stradbally Road, Portlaoise and formerly of Dunnamaggin, county Kilkenny, Oct 20th 2018. Tom, (ex Detective Garda), beloved husband of Betty and loving father to Elma, and Breidette (O’Donnell), and the late Dick. Surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. Cherished grandfather to Ellen, Eva, and Luke. Deeply regretted by his loving family, son-in-law Paul, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing privately. Funeral will arrive at Ss Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise at 5pm (Note time change) on Sunday evening. Requiem mass at 11am on Monday followed by interment in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

The late Margaret Plunkett

The death has occurred of Margaret Plunkett, Westlands, Portlaoise and late of Coppenagh, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. Oct 20th 2018 Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Margaret (Peg), beloved wife of the late Jim, and dearly loved mother to George, Seamus and Oliver. Cherished grandmother to Denise, George, Karen, Reuben and Polly. Great-grandmother to George, Sadie, and Senan. Deepy regretted by her daughters-in-law Elizabeth, Denise, and Catriona, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Sunday from 7pm, with rosary at 9pm. Removal on Monday to St Peter and Paul’s Church to arrive for 1pm mass. Interment will follow in St Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
