Kilnaspic was a hive of activity on Saturday as it hosted its inaugural ‘Craic at the Crossroads’ event.
Food and craft stalls, live music, céilí dancing, a bumper raffle and childrens’ games - there was something there for everyone.
The event was organised by a team of more than 50 volunteers and Kilnaspic Women’s Shed.
Spanning generations, participants ranged from talented musicians and crafters as young as eight to seasoned veterans.
Céili dancers, under the guidance of Maura Tynan, entertained audiences with captivating performances. Food stalls offered a variety of delectable treats, including a homebaked cake stall and even a spit roast. appreciation
They expressed their appreciation to the generous sponsors of the generator, spit roast, and monetary donations, as well as the contributors of auction items, raffle prizes, and provisions such as tea, coffee, and sauces.
Aoife Kearns served as a wonderful MC throughout the evening. ‘Craic at the Crossroads’ has shown that through collaborative efforts and hard work, an incredible idea can be brought to life.
