The death has occurred of Elsie Williams (née Kelly), 16 Parkmore Terrace, Gowran, Kilkenny. Elsie passed away on February 11, 2026, after a short illness peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy, sister Kathleen, parents Michael and Elizabeth Kelly. Sadly missed by her loving family, Benny, Liz, Patrick, Michael, Catherine and Bernie. Her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers and sister, grandchildren, great-grandchild, extended family, friends and great neighbours.
Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 14th at 11am in Church of the Assumption, Gowran followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Thank you to Elsie's carers and the Homecare team. The death has occurred of Kathleen Holohan (née Power), 33 Fatima Place, Kilkenny. Kathleen passed away on February 11, 2026, unexpectedly and peacefully at her home. Predeceased by her loving daughter Linda, sister Lily (Dowling) and brothers Nicky and Matty. Beloved wife of Oliver and much loved mother of Lorraine, Olivia and Declan. Kathleen will be dearly missed by her heartbroken family, brother Sean, sisters Breda, Joan and Emily, sons-in-law Owen and Tommy, daughter-in-law Lauren, grandchildren Troy, Scott, Kayla, Conor, Jayden, Amelia, Kaylem, Kyle and Eden, great grandchildren Jack, Lily and Zion, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home in Fatima Place (R95CVF8) on Sunday, February 15, from 4pm to 7pm with prayers recited at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am in St. Mary's Cathedral. The death has occurred of David (Davie) Comerford, Talbots Hill, Gowran, Co Kilkenny, who died on February 12, peacefully in St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Pre-deceased by his brothers John, Paddy, Tim, Mickie and Andy, sisters Peggy and Patty. Davie will be sadly missed by his sisters Statia and Sr. Brigid, sister in law Margaret and Phil, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, friends and neighbours. Reposing at his home (R95XW77) on Friday February 13th from 4pm to 8pm, pausing for prayers at 6.30pm.

The death has occurred of Maureen (Maura) Delaney, St. Gabriel’s Ward, St. Canice’s Hospital, Kilkenny and formerly of Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of staff at St. Gabriel’s Ward, St. Canice’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in her 102nd year. Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Molly, her sisters Sheila, Ursula, Bridie, Elsie and Nee, her brother Joe and also her brother who died in infancy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her sister Rita Kay, brothers-in-law Stephen and Chris, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan, Co. Kilkenny (Eircode R95 Y443), on Friday, February 13, from 9.30am. Funeral Prayers at 10am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Tullaroan Cemetery.
The death has occurred of Anna May (May) Delaney (née Doyle), Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Carrigduff, Bunclody, Co. Wexford. Anna May passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny surrounded by her four devoted children on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents Matthew and Bridget, brothers John and Joseph (infant). Anna May will be sadly missed by her children, Seamus, Fidelma, Rosaleen and Padhraic, sons-in-law Fintan and Kevin, daughter-in-law Therese, her grandchildren Oisín, Emma, Darragh, Shay, Sadie, Lara and Reyna, her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Removal on Friday morning to arrive at Duiske Abbey for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Calvary cemetery, Graignamanagh. The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Brennan, "Paddy's Country Pub", Flagmount, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny. Paddy passed away on February 8, 2026, unexpectedly at his partner Irenee's home in Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Beloved father of Sinead and Tony. Paddy will be dearly missed by his loving family, his devoted partner Irenee, brother Davy, sisters Trish and Angela, son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Phil, his adored grandchildren Oliver, Eve, Aiden and Bobby, sisters-in-law Mai and Maeve, brothers-in-law Mattie, Tom and Michael, nephews, nieces, extended family, loyal neighbours and customers and a wide circle of friends. Paddy is predeceased by his siblings John Joe, Moira, Tom, Nuala and Gen.
